Salland Engineering is your expert when it comes to developing testing solutions for chips (ICs). We are also specialists in carrying out qualification tests and production tests. Our customers are located all over the world and come to us for complex testing solutions and services. For its development and implementation, we have many smart colleagues. But due to our growth in recent years, we also want to further professionalise some things internally. And that is why we are looking for a Product Engineer, someone who will manage the testing solutions of the various products. You will also assist with introductions of new testing solutions in our production testing facility and monitor the quality of production and qualification tests.

About the position

In this new position, the focus is on qualification, production and characterisation of state-of-the-art chips. You will fulfil your role as a Product Engineer within the Semiconductor Test Solutions team. This department consists of 30 enthusiastic colleagues who together develop the most innovative testing solutions. A committed and collegial team in which you are given the space to organise work in your own way. You will work from our modern and easily accessible office in Zwolle.

Curious about the tasks you will be performing?

• You monitor the production process, analyse measurement data and anticipate these measurement results;
• You are responsible for the verification and validation of test results on the various test platforms and ensure the quality of the test solutions;
• Using data analysis tools, you perform statistical analysis on chip testing and characterisation results. To analyse and assess test results, you use your analytical skills and in-depth knowledge of electronics;
• You will communicate with Test Engineers, Production Engineers and customers to ensure timely delivery of chips that meet customer quality requirements;
• Where necessary – and after consultation with the customer – you make adjustments/updates to the test solutions to achieve optimal results.

What do we ask of you?

• Someone with a higher vocational (HBO) degree in the field of electrical engineering;
• Preferably work experience in semiconductor industry. We are also open to enthusiastic starters who bring in new skills and ideas;
• Experience in verification and validation work, and knowledge of various testing techniques and methods;
• Knowledge of electronic circuits to understand the functionality of the product and customer application, and to assess the content of requirements and test specifications;
• You love variety and like to be informed about everything;
• You are a good coordinator who follows processes closely;
• You can work well both independently and as part of a team.
