As an Application Engineer, you are responsible for developing turnkey software and hardware solutions for electric testing. You create test solutions for Integrated Circuits (ICs) on the latest Automated Test Equipment (ATE). You are part of the Semicon test department and work with a team of 25 engineers to provide the most optimal test solution for our customers. You also work closely with designers and product engineers from the most innovative chip manufacturers. You primarily work from our main office in Zwolle, occasionally traveling to clients' locations.

What you do in your role:

• Develop turnkey chip-specific test solutions;
• Set up and validate test strategies and methodologies;
• Substantiate results with external equipment and/or theory;
• Create design diagrams for the interface between the ATE and the Device Under Test (DUT);
• Characterise ICs according to specifications and report results, if requested;
• Keep a good schedule and monitor the progress of the project;
• Support colleagues within the engineering team;
• And, of course, maintain close contact with your customers to discuss interim results. This way, you can further build on collaborations.

• A bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering;
• Affinity with electronics and software;
• You learn quickly and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;

• You have a good command of both English and Dutch;
